Fire engulfs Flora house

FLORA — No Injuries were reported in an early morning structure fire off of Pocahontas Road in the southwest part of town.

The Flora Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire on Bratton Road on Monday at 3:02 a.m.

“First-responding units reported heavy fire and smoke conditions,” according to Assistant Chief Hunter Grewe.

Units from Gluckstadt, Kearney Park, and Pocahontas fire departments responded to assist as well.
