Ridgeland firefighters respond to burning boat
Firefighters from Ridgeland’s C-Shift put out a fire on a boat outside Pelican Cove Bar and Grill last Friday. There were no injuries reported.

RIDGELAND — Firefighters extinguished a small boat that caught fire while fueling near Pelican Cove last week.
Firefighters from the Ridgeland Fire Department’s C-Shift responded to a call about a small boat that was on fire at the gas pumps near the Pelican Cove Bar and Grill off of Dyke Road on Friday, July 12, at about 2:30 p.m., Fire Chief Matt Bailey said.
No injuries were reported and Bailey said the fire was extinguished quickly.
