Traffic signal installation to begin at Madison Central

MADISON — A project to signalize two intersections here on the Highland Colony Parkway could take all summer, city officials say.
The installation of traffic signals at the intersection of the Highland Colony Parkway and Lake Castle Road and at the entrance of Madison Central High School began on June 3.
“Please be aware of construction workers and use extreme caution while traveling through both construction zones,” an announcement from the city said. “Your safety and the safety of our workers is our top priority. Thank you for your cooperation.”
The project is projected to be completed before school starts.
