Search continues for man missing since May

RIDGELAND — Police are continuing their search for a 33-year-old man reported missing here in May.

The man, Jason Joseph Alexander, is described as a white male, about 5’11” tall, weighing about 150 pounds, according to Lt. Brett Bertucci, Criminal Investigations Division Commander with the Ridgeland Police Department. 

“Family members say he suffers from a medical condition that may impair his judgment,” Bertuccis said.

Alexander is believed to be in the Jackson metro area but has ties to Florida, Bertucci said. He was last seen in a 2016 black Hyundai Elantra with Mississippi tag MAL 8126.

Bertucci said he has a tattoo on his right wrist with the phrase “I love you.”
