Madison County Schools recently scored in the top 10 districts throughout the state on the 2023 Mississippi Academic Assessment Program in math and English language arts.

“Our district exemplifies the Mark of Excellence in so many ways, and the results of the 2023 MAAP testing affirm that our students and teachers are moving that mark to be their very best,” said Superintendent Charlotte Seals, “We are so incredibly proud of the hard work of every member of our MCS community to achieve these remarkable results.”

Madison County Schools is the largest district in the state amongst the top 10. The district currently has over 13,000 students across 23 different campuses from pre-K all the way to 12th grade.

The Mississippi Department of Education released the test scores last week.
