Man charged in Camden murder

CAMDEN — A man law enforcement authorities believe murdered an unidentified woman here last week has been arrested.
The body of the woman, who officials have not yet identified, was discovered in the early hours of Thursday, Jan. 2.
The suspect, 55-year-old Erick Cordell Nichols, was taken into custody the same day. Nichols does not have a listed address. He was booked into the Madison County Jail at 10:55 a.m. and charged with first-degree murder.
