Madison switching water bills to paper letters

MADISON — Water bills will go from a postcard to a letter format, the city has announced.

Instead of the postcard-sized bill, customers will receive their bill in an envelope on a full-sized piece of paper. Account numbers will remain the same, but customer numbers will change, officials said.

All bills can still be paid the same way by using a credit card online, mailing a check, bank draft, utilizing the drop-boxes located at the Public Services Complex or City Hall, or bringing a check or cash to the Public Services Complex or City Hall to pay in person.

For more information, contact City Hall at (601) 856-7116.
