Gallagher earns tops swimming accolade

Brooklyn Gallagher recently attended the MSI 2023 Long Course State Championships in Tupelo.
She finished as the state’s high point winner for the girls 17 and over field. Gallagher swims for Madison Central High School and year-round on Mississippi Makos Swim Team.
Not only did she grab three Best-in-State titles taking first place in her 400 meter IM, 200 meter breaststroke and 200 meter butterfly, she also took second place in her 200 meter IM, 100 meter breaststroke and 50 meter freestyle. At the end of a very long four days, with both prelim and final sessions, she managed to grab the overall state high point winner for girls.
