Bozeman closed for road repairs

MADISON — A portion of Bozeman Road closed this week for repairs should be open by Friday afternoon, city officials say.

Bozeman Road was closed from Highway 463 to Old Mannsdale Road for repairs Monday, June 26, at 6 a.m., according to city officials.

“We anticipate completing the work by Friday afternoon,” a Madison the City announcement on social media said. “So we appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. These improvements will contribute to a safer and more enjoyable driving experience for everyone.”

Motorists are encouraged to please use Reunion Parkway as a detour route. There will be signage in the area showing the detour route. 

City officials said residents of Cedarmont Drive will need to access their residences by coming in from the Old Mannsdale barricade side of Bozeman Road. 

“During this week, please exercise caution and be aware of the construction activities taking place,” The city announcement says. “Follow any temporary signs, detours, or instructions provided by the construction crew or traffic controllers to ensure a smooth and safe journey.”
