Wreck remains under investigation

A Monday morning crash that sent a Lexington man to the hospital is under investigation, authorities say.
“This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol,” said Trooper Darnika Mayfield, Public Affairs Officer for Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop C.
MHP responded to a one-vehicle crash on Highway 22 near Caroline Boulevard in Madison County at 11:08 a.m..
A 1994 Mack 600 driven by Earnest Wade, 21, of Lexington, was traveling westbound when he lost control of the vehicle and overturned onto the shoulder, Mayfield reported.
“The driver was transported to UMMC in Jackson with unknown injuries,” Mayfield said.
