Walter Phil Reeves, Jr.

Phil Reeves, 60, passed away Monday, January 1, 2024 at his residence in Canton.

Graveside services are 12:00 noon Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Raytown Cemetery in Canton.  Visitation will be 10:00 am until 11:30 am at Culpepper Funeral Home in Canton prior to the service.  

He graduated from Canton Academy in 1981.  He attended Holmes Community College where he played baseball and graduated in 1984 with an Associate of Arts degree.  Phil then earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the MS University for Women in Columbus.  He worked as a Medical Technologist at Oktibbeha County Hospital in Starkville and Merit Health in Canton.  

Phil is survived by his daughters Hailey Willis (Ryan) and Sommer Reeves, son Trae Reeves (Shelby), parents Barbara and Mike Ray, brothers Larry Reeves and Michael Ray, Jr., and his grandchildren Jorden, Paisley, Piper, Annlynn, Charli Brooke, and Hattie Grace.

He was preceded in death by his father Walter Phil Reeves.
