Presidential primaries set for Tuesday

Voters will head to the polls Tuesday for the presidential primaries.
In the Republican primary, voters will choose between former President Donald J. Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki R. Haley, and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy for the nomination. DeSantis and Ramaswamy have since exited the race.
For the U.S. Senate, incumbent Roger Wicker faces Ghannon Burton and Dan Eubanks for the nomination.
In the Democrat primary, President Joe Biden is the only candidate. Ty Pinkins is running unopposed for the party’s nomination for U.S. Senate.
