Diana Wells 

Germantown High School, Sr.

Wells had a great week on the court for the Mavericks, who went 1-1 on the week. She totalled 38 kills, 16 digs, and 6 aces in two matches on the week.

FOOTBALL

JD Kelly

Canton Academy, Jr.

Kelly had a monster performance to open the season, powering Canton Academy to a one-point win over Greenville Christian. He totalled 211 yards on 19 carries rushing, along with four rushing touchdowns offensively and three tackles on defense.

SOFTBALL

Mary Alice Holmes

Canton Academy, So.

One of the rising stars in the Madison County softball scene, Holmes had a great week on the diamond for Canton Academy. Her great offensive week was highlighted by a grand slam in Tuesday’s game against Carroll Academy and she also totalled 15 strikeouts in seven innings pitching on the week.
