Man killed in motorcycle wreck

A motorcycle accident on Mississippi 22 near Flora that fatally injured a Brandon man on Sunday is under investigation.
“This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol,” Trooper First Class Darnika Mayfield with the MHP Public Affairs Division said.
The victim has been identified as 62-year-old Mark Taylor of Brandon.
On Sunday, Feb. 25, at about 3:34 p.m., the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a motorcycle crash on Mississippi 22 near Shady Grove Road in Madison County, according to Mayfield.
A 2019 Harley Davidson driven by Taylor was traveling east when it ran off the road into a ditch.
“Taylor received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced deceased on the scene,” Mayfield said.
