Madison surgeon joins MSMOC as specialist

Mississippi Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center is pleased to welcome Dr. Matthew Young to its team of sub-specialized surgeons. A fellowship-trained orthopaedic physician, Dr. Young is an expert in hip and knee replacement.

He treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions while utilizing cutting-edge techniques and technology to ensure the best outcome for patients. Dr. Young will begin serving patients needing hip and knee replacements at our Flowood location and is now available for appointments. 

Originally from Texas, Dr. Young now resides in Madison, Miss. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and completed his prerequisite coursework for medical school at Houston Baptist University. Dr. Young received his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. In 2019, Dr. Young was accepted into the Mississippi Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center’s Adult Reconstruction Fellowship program.
