Mississippi is well represented at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.

State Treasurer David McRae and his wife Katie McRae of Madison County, visit with Jenny Nicaud of Harrison County, and John Caldwell of DeSoto County at the RNC. The McRaes are a handful of Madison countians who attended the RNC.

Gerard Gibert of Ridgeland took a selfie with President Donald J. Trump and Vice Presidential candidate J.D. Vance in the background.

“The air in Fiserv Forum is filled with excitement and optimism,” Gibert said. “One thing is for sure, Republicans are solidly behind the Trump-Vance ticket. The surprise appearance by President Trump Monday evening, the first since an attempt was made on his life last Saturday, electrified the crowd. Positioned some 40 feet directly below the VIP box, where the President and his running mate J.D. Vance were seated, the Mississippi Delegation had the best seat in the house! I’ve never seen the Party more united and resolved to Make America Great Again!”
