KaTrina Smith

KaTrina Smith, 54 of Madison, Mississippi passed away on December 29, 2023.

Trina was born in Alexandria, Virginia on August 19, 1969 to Don and Joyce Fenton. She received her Associates degree in early childhood education from Wake Technical Community College.

Trina married the love of her life Kyle Smith on June 2, 1990.  They have two sons, Nathan Smith (J’Lissia), Nick, who predeceased her in April of 2022, and their daughter Ashlyn.

Trina worked for Madison Station Elementary School, as a teacher’s assistant and in the front office. She was a member of the Madison Church of Christ.

Trina is survived by her husband Kyle Smith, children Nathan Smith (J’Lissia) and Ashlyn Smith, Karen Chauvaux, sister, Kirby Smith, Keith Smith, brothers in law and Kelly Akin (Dave) sister-in-law. 

Funeral services will be held at Madison Church of Christ on Saturday, January 6, 2024. Visitation will begin promptly at 10:00 am followed by the funeral service beginning at 12:00 pm.
