Our precious mother, Jane Harper Sisson of Madison, MS passed away peacefully at home on November 29, 2023. 

Jane was born in Stow, Ohio on July 30,1931 to Dessie and Herman Harper. She attended Southside High School in Memphis, TN and married her high school sweetheart, Arthur Hugh Sisson, on January 3, 1951. They had four children; Arthur Hugh Sisson, Jr., James Thomas Sisson, Peggy Lee Sisson (Hartt) and Tracey Lynn Sisson (McCraw). 

Jane was a proud member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the Madison Methodist Church. 

Jane is survived by Arthur H. Sisson, Jr., Peggy S. Hartt, Tracey S. McCraw, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren (with more on the way). 

She was predeceased by Arthur Hugh Sisson (husband), James Thomas Sisson (son), Helen Harper Barnett (sister), Dixie Harper Gipson (sister) and Shirley Harper Matko (sister).  

Funeral services were held at Parkway Funeral Home on December 9, 2023.   

Following the Parkway service, the family accompanied Jane to Memorial Park South Woods in Memphis TN for a graveside interment to join Hugh, Helen, Dixie and Shirley in the glory of God.
