Germantown Band places in St. Louis

Last Saturday, the Germantown High School Marching Band, under the direction of Justin Harvison, competed at the Bands of America Super Regional in St Louis.
The band finished in 8th place out of 66 bands throughout the US, including bands from Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Nebraska, Indiana, Illinois, Arkansas, and Tennessee.
The GHS Band first attended this BOA in 2022 but made program history over this past weekend by making it to finals (top 14 bands) and finishing with the highest overall score in Class 2A.
Mississippi was well represented in St Louis as both Germantown (8th place) and Hernando (11th place) made it to finals.
