Future community leaders recognized
The Gluckstadt Madison Business Alliance recognized their Top 10 Under 40 earlier this month.
The Rising Stars-Top 10 Under 40 winners were announced at a March 12 luncheon held at Bridlewood of Madison.
“This recognition celebrates individuals who have demonstrated exceptional talent, dedication, and innovation in their respective fields, all before reaching the age of 40,” said GMBA Executive Director Elizabeth Fulcher Tyler.
The selectees include: Kristi Eldridge, Pax Hospice; Dee Senter, BankPlus; Jessie Campbell, Canvas Salon; Sarah Cook, Parkway Perk; Morgan Pitts, Women's Wellness of MS; Lee Balch, Cadence Bank; Lauren Bishop, Origin Bank; Will Anderson, Community Bank; Brent Brownlee, Germantown High School.
“By honoring these individuals, we aim to not only celebrate their achievements but also to inspire others to reach for their own aspirations,’ Tyler said. “We congratulate each honoree on their outstanding accomplishments and look forward to witnessing their continued success and impact in the years to come.”
Tyler said they asked GMBA members for nominations. Those making nominations filled out a form that included a variety of information on their nominee and had entries in categories such as leadership, achievement, exceptional qualities, and innovation or entrepreneurship.
The forms were then sent to committee members who individually ranked each application. Tyler said the rankings were used to determine the winners.
“Furthermore, by shining a spotlight on these Rising Stars, we hope to encourage mentorship, collaboration, and investment in the next generation of leaders,” Tyler said. “Supporting young professionals in their endeavors today ensures a brighter and more prosperous future for all.”
The GMBA also recognized Hederman Brothers as the Business of the Year, Michael Petyak as Ambassador of the Year, and Adam Black as the Volunteer of the Year at the luncheon.
Secretary of State Michael Watson was guest speaker and Mayor Walter Morrison also spoke.
