Farmers Market returns to Madison

MADISON — The Farmers Market begins June 6 and runs every Tuesday through July, with the exception of July 4.

Residents can experience the market weekly from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Main Street next to the Red Caboose. 

Customers can enjoy live music from artists such as Jeff Fulkerson, Ralph Miller, Brian Smith, Sean Patterson, and Jay Wadsworth, along with a large assortment of produce and other items to choose from.

• Ms. Patticakes

Community Partners Director Amy Cummins said there are still vendor spots open, and anyone interested can be placed on a waitlist and to call the Community Partners office at (601) 856-7060. 

“There will be kids activities each week, along with different food trucks at each market,” Cummins said. “Food truck vendors include Kenzie’s Sno Cones and BBQ Shine. The trucks will vary from week to week.” 

“This is a fun family market and we’ll have it weather permitting,” Cummins said. “If there’s a chance of inclement weather, people can check the market’s Facebook page to see if the market is canceled.”
