Clarkdell Road closed for repairs

A portion of Clarkdell Road will be closed just north of Green Oak Lane for about a month as bridge repairs are made.
The official detour route is Green Oak to Highway 51 to Yandell Road, said Madison County spokesman Heath Hall.
Beginning Wednesday, July 12, Clarkdell Road will be closed for bridge repairs at the bridge located roughly 0.2 miles north of Green Oak Lane, according to Hall.
“Everything north of there will be accessible from Yandell Road and south of there from Green Oak Lane,” Hall said.
He said crews with B.P. Construction Company were in the area putting up signs as early as 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
Hall said the project comes with a price tag of about $155,000.
