GLUCKSTADT — A family-friendly entertainment center that will include bowling, an arcade, a sports bar and casual dining is on the way here, developers say.

Developer Rav Bedi said he and his partners have been discussing opening an entertainment facility in Madison County since 2019. When Gluckstadt incorporated in May 2021 they felt it was time to make their plan a reality, he said.

“We felt it was the perfect time to jump on our idea,” Bedi said.

The site currently does not have an address and developers are still working on a name. They first acquired the 6.4 acres south of the Mac Haik dealership on Autobahn Loop in July 2022.

Bedi is developing the project with his two partners, Satvinder Bedi and Navjot Thind. They all have families with multiple children and live in Madison County. Bedi himself has three daughters and they are always seeking outlets for entertainment, he said.

They have to leave Madison County for activities like bowling and the men saw a need for a place to enjoy a family-friendly evening.

“This will be the nearest place for us to take them,” Bedi said.

They started the design phase four months ago and would like to break ground during the first quarter of next year.

Current plans include between 26 and 28 bowling lanes with eight of those lanes being VIP, a 10,000-square-foot casual dining restaurant and sports bar, a 14,000-square-foot arcade and four private party rooms.

The restaurant is still in the design phase and Bedi said they do not  have a menu they are ready to announce but says it will be a “casual sit down restaurant” with “a pretty big sports bar.”
