‘Giselle,' Act II
at MS Balllet
Join us for our spring performance "Giselle," Act II on Thursday, April 2 at 7 p.m. at Thalia Mara Hall.
In this dramatic ballet classic, the beautiful peasant girl, Giselle, is pursued by a gamekeeper, Hilarion, and the Duke Albrecht — who is already betrothed. To win Giselle, Albrecht pretends to be a peasant, until his identity is revealed. Giselle goes mad at the revelation and dies of a broken heart. In the second act, Giselle's spirit rises to join the Wilis — the souls of virgins who could never marry. But what will become of the two lovers she leaves behind?
Doors open at 6 p.m.
Tickets: $15-25 per person.
