The Glorious Music of Christmas | The First Presbyterian Church of Jackson

Sunday, Dec. 15 | 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.



The First Presbyterian Church of Jackson will host its annual Lessons and Carols Service with full choir and symphony orchestra on Sunday. A beloved Jackson seasonal event for almost 50 years, the service features beautiful settings of familiar carols. The service is modeled after the world-famous Lessons and Carols Service of Kings College, Cambridge, England.

Square Saturday



Christmas on the Square is Saturday in Livingston from
9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Come visit Santa and his elves for some pictures with your family! Have fun at our cookie decorating station.

Face painting from 12-2 for the little ones. Sip on hot cider or a festive mimosa, while enjoying some music from Santa's elves!


We will also be featuring an angel tree with proceeds benefiting Sunnybrook Children's Home.

Santa at Mississippi Children's Museum

Santa will be at the Mississippi Children's Museum visiting with good girls and boys, hearing their wish lists, and taking lots of photos! There is no need to purchase your photographs with Santa, just bring your camera or phone to take pictures.

The Harry Potter Film Concert Series returns to Thalia Mara Hall with Harry Potter and the Chamber of SecretsTM in Concert, the second film in the Harry Potter series. On Feb. 29, The Mississippi Orchestra will perform John Williams' unforgettable score live from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets while the entire film plays in high-definition on a 40-foot screen.
