Week 14 High School Pick’em

MRA will host Hartfield Academy in the MAIS 6A semifinals on Friday night, in what will be one of the most highly anticipated rematches of the season. MRA also hosted the first matchup between these two teams, which the Patriots won 44-35, but it was a game that could have gone either way until the win. It was a shootout between these two high-powered offenses in the first matchup and expect the game to be a very similar style on Friday night, as MRA looks to knock off the defending state champions and move to the state title game. 

This week’s guest picker is Southern Miss wide receiver and MRA alum Davis Dalton. Dalton won a state title with the Patriots in 2021 and was named to the MAIS All-State team. He is now in his third season with Southern Miss and has played in all nine games so far this year for the Golden Eagles.
