Uniform supply warehouse approved by aldermen
RIDGELAND — A new warehouse for a uniform supply company is set for the west side of town off of Cole Road following approval from the aldermen last week.
Public Works Director Alan Hart presented a proposed site plan and architectural review for a proposed Unifirst building on East Market Ridge Drive.
East Market Ridge Drive runs between Marketridge Drive and Cole Road on the far west side of Ridgeland along I-220.
UniFirst is a supplier of uniforms, workwear, and facility services to businesses.
The new building will be 10,382 square feet, most of which will be a large warehouse space with large doors to accommodate loading and unloading.
The item was recommended unanimously for approval by the Architectural Review Board during their meeting on April 23.
Aldermen unanimously approved the item on the consent agenda at their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday at City Hall.
