Trustmark branch nears completion

The new Trustmark branch in Gluckstadt off of Calhoun Station Parkway is on track to open at the beginning of the year, bank officials said.

“Gluckstadt is the fastest growing community in central Mississippi, and we’re delighted to be a part of the excitement and growth here,“ said Mike Crandall, Trustmark’s Market Leader, Madison County. “Our new location on 103 Trustmark Drive will be a full-service, concierge-style financial services office with expanded banking hours for the convenience of our customers.”

This will be the first Trustmark branch in Gluckstadt according to bank spokesman Melanie Morgan.

“The location is around 70% complete at this point, and we are currently on target to open by the end of this year,” Morgan said.

The building is 3,800 square feet of heated and cooled office space with a total of 5,600 square feet including the drive-thru canopy.

The building was designed by Steve Davis of Canizaro Cawthon Davis Architecture-Planning-Interior Design in Jackson.

“Trustmark’s new bank in Gluckstadt makes a powerful statement on a busy street corner,” a statement from the firm reads. “Reflecting both the community’s Germanic roots and Trustmark’s modern banking concepts, the building welcomes users with a light-filled lobby. The concept has remained true from initial design through construction.”

The Gluckstadt Mayor and Board of Aldermen unanimously approved a site plan for a new Trustmark National Bank on the northwest corner of Gluckstadt Road and Calhoun Station Parkway in August 2022. Later in October, they voted unanimously to name the access road off of the Calhoun Station Parkway for the site Trustmark Drive.
