The last time Tri-County Academy traveled to Sylva Bay they were defeated by the Saints in the playoffs. That would not be the case Friday night as the Rebels would go up 14-0 in the first quarter and never look back on their way to a 34-6 victory.

TCA was led by Kamp Shepard. The 6-foot 175-pound sophomore wide receiver-defensive back caught four passes for 68 yards and two touchdowns also had two tackles to go along with his 3 interceptions. Zac Clark rushed for a career high 203 yards on 27 carries and scored one TD. Braden Presley’s 9 tackles and Hayden Tyer’s 8 Tackles anchored the defense which only allowed 71 total yards for the ballgame. Tri County will host Carroll Academy Friday night in Flora. TCA is Ranked #1 in 4A while Carroll is ranked # 2 in 3A.
