Township condos greenlit
RIDGELAND — A proposed four-story condominium at The Township is one step closer to reality after plans were approved by aldermen last week.
The two-wing building will feature more than 30 condos.
Public Works Director Alan Hart presented architectural review and site plans to the board at their regular meeting last Tuesday evening.
“I think this a great looking condo building,” Hart said.
Hart said his office “verified” with representatives of the Kerioth Corporation, the developer of the Township, that all the units would be condos.
The building is slated for 110 and 120 South Lake Avenue at the corner of North Lake Avenue. The two wings will have 16 units apiece, according to drawings submitted to the city.
Drawings show the building at 42,285 square feet.
Hart said the project had the approval of the Architectural Review Board.
The item was approved in a unanimous 6-0 vote on the consent agenda. Ward 2 Alderman Chuck Gautier was not present at the meeting.
