Mr. and Mrs. David Folmar of Laurel, Mississippi are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Tatum Jean Folmar, to Wilson Kice Brown, son of Riley and Amanda Brown of Mantee, MS.

The bride elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Vincent Scoper and the late Senator Vincent Scoper of Laurel, MS, the late Ms. Noma Jean Folmar of Beaumont, TX, Mrs. Jack Folmar and the late Mr. Jack Folmar of Dallas, TX.

Kice is the grandson of Ms. Peggy Hillhouse of Eupora, MS, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hunter of Grenada, MS, and Mr. and Mrs. James Fulton Brown, Jr of Madison, MS.

The bride-elect is a 2016 graduate of Highland Park High School in Dallas, TX. She attended Samford University for three semesters and then transferred to Mississippi College where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education this past May. She is currently employed at West Avenue Elementary School in Waco, TX teaching fourth grade Science and Social Studies.

The groom is a 2016 graduate of Germantown High School in Madison, MS. He graduated Cum Laude from Mississippi College in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry ACS. He has been accepted to Baylor University to seek his Doctorate of Philosophy in Inorganic Chemistry. He will be employed as a Graduate Assistant within the chemistry department at Baylor while continuing his education.

A November wedding is planned at Grace City Church in Jackson, MS.
