RIDGELAND — A lone masked burglary suspect who is believed to have broken into and robbed two businesses here more than a week ago is being sought by the authorities.

The Ridgeland Police Department has circulated a picture of the suspect that appears to be taken from a security camera at one of the businesses. The suspect was masked, wore knee pads, gloves, and a hooded sweatshirt with the word CLOUT on the front. 

In the early morning hours of Sunday, June 26, two business burglaries occurred at 6610 Old Canton Road near Pine Knoll Drive in Ridgeland. An unidentified suspect entered El Sabor Restaurant and Princess Cakes Bakery, RPD said. 

After entering the business the suspect is seen crawling on their hands and knees through the business.
