Second Line March belated St. Patrick’s Day parade Saturday

A Second Line March belated St. Patrick’s Day parade will take place Saturday evening at the Renaissance at Colony Park.

Malcolm White of Hal and Mal's and Hal’s St. Paddy's Parade & Festival will form an informal and impromptu Second Line March featuring the Epic Funk Brass Band starting at 5 p.m. on the green at the theater.

It all started with “who wants to dress up and march around?” organizers said.

Wear your green and come celebrate a belated St. Patrick’s Day and the first day of spring.

No motor vehicles. Marching only. Costumes, beads, flowers, umbrellas and kazoos are encouraged!

The event will start and finish at the green space by Malco Renaissance Cinema Grill & Bar, followed by a performance by Epic Funk Brass Band on the Show Fountain Stage.
