Ridgeland’s Fine Arts Festival kicks off next month and some of America’s most talented artists will converge for this juried festival.

Ridgeland’s Fine Arts Festival includes clay, drawing and pastels, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media 2D and 3D, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and wood and a great musical lineup.

The festival runs Friday, May 6 through Sunday, May 8 at the The Renaissance.

The festival provides art enthusiasts and shoppers the opportunity to interact with the artists personally.

Artisans from the Craftsmen’s Guild of Mississippi will be on hand demonstrating their various crafts and they’ll be on hand at the Children’s Creative Craft Corner to help your budding artist create their own “make and take” piece of art.

New this year is the Pups Park. All Art, Wine & Wheels events are dog-friendly, and guests can stop by the pet green space during the Fine Arts Festival to grab a selfie and a doggie bandana for a souvenir.

Festival attendees can enjoy sampling unique wines and beer at Sante South Sampling Palate kiosks.

Guests 21 and older can purchase a punch card at the Information Tents located on the festival grounds and take it to the Sampling Kiosk for some fabulous adult beverages.

Food trucks will also be at the festival offering food for everyone, and if you’d rather dine out, Ridgeland is home to many popular restaurants as well.

Local boutiques and brand name merchants will also have ongoing weekend specials during the festival, so there is no shortage of shopping.
