Rex Fagan Bullock, age 82, of Ridgeland, passed away at home on Monday, August 2nd, with family present.

Rex was a lifelong resident of the area, he served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and also retired as Postmaster with the US Postal Service.  Rex was known for his ability to tell jokes for hours, catch fish all day and to make a contraption out of spare parts he had in his garage.  Rex loved to camp and travel in recent years with his wife, who survives him, Sue Chew Bullock.

Rex was preceded in passing by his beloved wife, Sandra Ferguson Bullock and his brothers, HC Bullock, Max Bullock and Sammy Bullock.

Rex is survived by his daughters, Amie Bullock Myers (Brian) and Amanda Bullock Rutherford (Will); grandchildren, Gauge and Gatling Myers, Emma Grace, Jake, Rex and Sally Rutherford.  Rex is also survived by his sisters, Bobbie Hughes and Patricia Simmons.

Visitation for Rex will be held at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison on Wednesday, August 4th, from 12:00-2:00pm. There will be no memorial service.

In Lieu of flowers, donations and memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Madison in Honor of Mr. and Mrs. Rex F. Bullock.
