Reginald Wayne Woods, of Ridgeland, son of the late Freddie and Tonya Woods, was born in Natchez, MS, on April 17, 1982.

At an early age, he professed his faith in Jesus Christ and joined Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Reginald attended Holy Family and Natchez Public Schools, where he graduated from Natchez High.



Reginald went on to continue his education at the University of Southern Mississippi, where he was a McNair Scholar, initiated as a member of the Mu Xi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. Reginald worked for the Mississippi State Health Department (MSDH) for nine years, most recently serving as the Director of the MSDH Water Laboratory in Jackson.

Reginald was preceded in death by: Parents (Freddie and Tonya Woods), Grandparents (Jessie and Lucille James, and Robert Woods), and Great-grandparents (William and Sarah Green).

His beautiful life will forever be cherished by his brothers: Ronald Woods and Ricardo Woods (Contina) and a host of other family and friends.
