Police nab pair at hotel for drugs, prostitution
RIDGELAND — A Jackson man and a woman were arrested here on prostitution and drug charges earlier this month.
The woman, Samantha Jean Lombardi, 35, was arrested for prostitution, two charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a stolen fire arm and felon in possession of a concealed weapon, according to Ridgeland Police Lt. Brett Bertucci.
Lombardi remains in the Madison County Detention Center on $150,000 in bond.
Lee Anthony Corentin, 33, of was arrested for promoting prostitution, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
The pair was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 13, at at 12:10 p.m., in the Staybridge Suites parking lot off of Ridgewood Road, Bertucci said.
Bertucci said RPD detectives were investigating suspected prostitution at the hotel on that date.
During the arrest, Lombardi was found to be in possession of about 20 grams of methamphetamine, 40 dosage units of ecstasy, liquid PCP, liquid Codeine, and a 9mm handgun, Bertucci said.
The firearm was reported stolen through the Capitol Police, Bertucci said.
Corentin was found to be in possession of a misdemeanor amount of marijuana during the arrest, Bertucci said.
