Marshalls moving to Grandview in former Stein Mart building

MADISON – The Marshalls Department Store off of County Line Road is coming to Grandview Boulevard here soon.

Construction and renovations for the new location on Grandview are underway in the old Stein Mart location in between Best Buy and Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Kerricook Construction, a company based out of Litchfield, Ohio, is the contractor.

John McGee, field superintendent for Kerricook, said there is no confirmed completion date for the store, but he is hoping it will be open in late fall of this year.

Kianca Guyton, director of community development for the city of Madison, said she is a regular shopper at Marshall’s and is overjoyed about having it closer to her.

"We are all very excited about Marshalls coming to Madison,” Guyton said. “Many residents see the 'coming soon' sign and have called inquiring about the opening date. Without a doubt, Marshalls will have great success in Madison and be a wonderful addition to Grandview Boulevard."

Marshalls is a retail chain offering brand-name clothing, accessories, shoes & housewares. The location on 6386 Ridgewood Court in Jackson will be closing once the new store on Grandview is open to the public.
