Madison's Gateway Arch installation to begin Monday
Installation of Madison's Gateway Arch will begin Monday on Main Street resulting in about a two-day road closure, the city said.
Beginning Monday, Jan. 25 at 9 a.m., Main Street from Madison Parkway/Highway 463 to the west entrance to the Half Shell Oyster House will be closed in both directions for the installation, the city said.
Traffic wishing to access Main Street may do so by proceeding on Madison Parkway and turning south on Post Oak Road to Main Street.
"All businesses in the area of Main Street will be open and accessible," officials said. "The installation is expected to take at least two days."
