Madison voters go to the polls Tuesday to elect an alderman-at-large.
The at-large race is the only race on the ballot which pits Democrat Janice Jackson against incumbent Republican Alderman-at-Large Sandra Strain.
Madison’s Republican Mayor Mary Hawkins-Butler drew no opponent and will serve her 11th term.
All other incumbent Madison aldermen ran unopposed as Republicans.
Polling places are as follows:
• Ward 1A — Madison Square center for the Arts, 2103 Main Street (Residents west of U.S. 51)
• Ward 1B — New Life Baptist Church, 385 North Old Canton Road (Residents east of U.S. 51)
• Ward 2 — Strawberry Patch House Auxillary Building, 7578 Old Canton Road
• Ward 3 — Madison Community Center, 7454 Old Canton Road
• Ward 4A — Victory Baptist Church, 420 Hoy RD (Residents outside of Northbay)
• Ward 4B — Northbay Clubhouse (Northbay residents)
• Ward 5 — Parkway Hills United Methodist Church, 1468 Highland Colony Parkway
• Ward 6 — China Grove AME Church, 1060 Mannsdale Road
