Tri-County Academy traveled to Winston Academy Friday night for a 4AA district showdown and control of second place.
It would not go TCA’s way as the depleted Rebels fell 14-0. It was the first time the Rebels have been shut out in a football game since 2015.
The defense was led by Thomas Murphy and Trace Dearman with 8 and 7 tackles apiece.
Tri-County will travel to Central Hinds Friday.
