Lily Earlene Castle

Lily Earlene Castle, 78, of Canton, MS, passed away September 28, 2022. She was born December 23, 1943 in Brandon, MS, to the late Willie (Bill) and Lillie Miley Brown. Lily Castle worked at Trustmark Bank and a variety of positions at Piggly Wiggly & Jitney Jungle stores in Canton. She loved to cook, sew, sing in the choir, and cheer for her four children at their many ball games. In addition to her parents, Lily was predeceased by her brother, James Brown. Lily is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Castle Sowell; her sons, Charles Nicholas Castle, Paul Alan Castle, and Timothy Scott Castle; and her sisters, Linda McCommons Dulworth, Ann Brown Cauthen, and Carolyn Brown Cauthen. She was also blessed with many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services were held at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC, on Friday, October 7th, 2022. Visitation was held at 1:00PM followed by the service at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care - Charlotte Region at www.hpccr.org. Holland Funeral Service is serving the family.
