Sarah Lindsay Knight and Jerry Lee Ainsworth, III were united in marriage at two o'clock in the afternoon on August 24, 2019 at First Baptist Church.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Knight, Jr. of Marks. She is the granddaughter of

Jennie Knight and the late Billy H. Knight, Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Daniel Patterson.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Ainsworth, II. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hutchison, Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Hall and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lee Ainsworth.

The nuptial music was provided by pianist Connie Haley and guitarist and soloist Billy Knight, III, the brother of the bride.

The marriage ceremony was officiated by the Rev. John Howell and Dr. Otis Pickett, Sr.

The bride's hand tied bouquet of soft white and blush Dahlias and ivory and blush Roses were accented with seeded eucalyptus and adorned with ivory satin ribbon.

Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a gown of ivory chiffon adorned with antique lace. The gown was accented with a v-neckline with lace that accented the bodice; it was gracefully fitted at the waistline. The back of her gown was lined with chiffon covered buttons. The ball gown skirt was accented with lace which flowed with a long sweeping cathedral train. The empire cap sleeves were made of beautiful lace. Her veil was lined with lace and beading which fell gracefully to her fingertips. She wore a string of pearls which were given to her by her parents. Every birthday a new pearl was added to the necklace for her in hopes she would wear it on her special day.

She proudly wore her pearl earrings. These were a gift from the groom on their wedding day.



The flower girl was Colesie-Anne Elizabeth Knight, niece of the bride. She carried a white wicker basket that she designed herself with help from her mom, Elizabeth Knight. She designed it with blush and white and fuschia roses accented with seeded eucalyptus and adorned with ivory satin ribbons. She wore an ivory silk dupioni tea length dress that was accented with embellishments at the empire waistline. She sprinkled rose pedals down the aisle just before the bride walked down the aisle to meet her groom.

The ring bearer was Max Preston Taylor, cousin of the bride. He carried a framed sign that read, "Jerry, Here comes your bride" and on the back side it read, "Don't worry ladies, I'm still single."

Attending the bride as matron of honor was Lauren


Feigle Lewis. The bride's maid of honor was Mary Ellen Heath. They both wore gowns of navy blue chiffon that had an empire waistline. The dress gracefully flowed to the floor. The bridesmaids were Makenzie Grace Taylor, Elizabeth E'laine Billingsley, cousins of the bride, Vivian Marie Ainsworth, Laura Jean Ainsworth, and Ava Rebekah Ainsworth, sisters of the groom, Ashlynn Suzanne Grissom, Katie Jean Rosenbaum and Dorothy Elizabeth Parish. The bridesmaids wore navy blue chiffon dresses with empire waist line. The dress gracefully flowed to the floor. They each wore a gemstone necklace and earrings which were gifts from the bride.

At the bridal breakfast the matron of honor, maid of honor, bridesmaids, and flower girl designed their own arrangements with soft blush, white and fuschia colored roses which were accented with seeded Eucaluptus. All were adorned with soft blush ribbon.

The father of the groom, Jerry Lee Ainsworth, II and the groom's brother, John Ross Ainsworth served as best men. The groomsmen were Cade Perry Barlow, William Clay Caldwell, III, Caleb Martin Jones, Christopher Jared Letson, Allen Derryl Steib, Jeffery Drake Terry and Juan Alejandro Vargas.

The ushers were Samuel Walker Davidson, Ronald H. Morris, Jr, John Robert Peyton, Stephen Van Dorn Stone, Kyle Christopher Usner and Christopher Lewis.

The program ushers were Carter Daniel Knight, nephew of the bride and Mason Christopher Taylor cousin of the bride.

Kimberly Knight Smith, aunt of the bride was the wedding director.

In memory of the bride's grandparents a seat was reserved at the ceremony with two special boutonnières and a special bouquet that were placed in memory of her grandparents. These special pieces were place at the registry table in the reception hall and were joined together to make the bride's hand tossed bouquet.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held in the church reception hall and Billie's Garden.

The guests were entertained by Billy Knight, III. In Billie's Garden, The bride and groom had their first dance under a special arbor draped with soft white wedding chiffon. The bride and her father and the groom and his mother also had their special dance.

On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner in the reception hall of First Baptist Church.

A special heartfelt thanks was given to the couple by the wedding party. In love, each one of the wedding party guest gave a wonderful testimony of how much their friendship has meant to them and each gave their blessing on their marriage.

Earlier in the morning on their wedding day, the church choir room was transformed into a dinning hall fit for the beautiful bride and her special bridal tribe. Given in honor of her daughter, the mother of the bride served a special Flamingo Bridal Breakfast. After the delicious breakfast each attendant was given a special bride's tribe tee shirt. The bridal tribe designed their very own beautiful bouquets for the wedding ceremony.

After their wedding trip to Asheville, North Carolina, the couple now resides in Tuscaloosa, AL.
