Joyce W. Barnett

Joyce W. Barnett, age 84, was born on February 24, 1938. in Noxapater, MS. She passed away on June 27, 2022, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center, Jackson, MS. 

Joyce was a resident of Northbay subdivison, Madison, at the time of her passing. Joyce graduated from Noxapater High School as valedictorian of her class. 

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Pauline Woodruff and her husband of many years, Pat Barnett. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Paula Prisock; her brother Harry Woodruff and brother Pat Woodruff. 

Left to cherish her memory are her son Kevin (Michelle), her grandson, Evan (Sarah), grandsons, Jace and Gabe, granddaughters Peyton Poole (Tanner) and Mary Reagan, one great grandchild, and her sister, Jan Sloane. 

A memorial service was held on June 30, 2022, at Parkway Funeral Home.
