Joan Markow

Joan Markow died peacefully on October 21, 2021, at age 89 at her home in Ridgeland, Mississippi. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, John P. Cerul Sr. and Mary Cerul as well as her husband of 59 years, Peter J. 

Markow Sr. She is survived by her brothers, John Cerul and Ed Cerul, and sister, Geri Rushford; children, Susan Skipper (Scott), Peter J. Markow, Jr. (Jenny), Greg Markow (Mary Ball), Paul Markow (Charlotte), Carolyn Billingsley (Morgan), Cathy White, Carl Markow (Michelle), and Mary Harrington (Hap), 19 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. 

A service for the family will be held at St. Richard Catholic Church. 

Memorials may be made to St. Richard Catholic Church or Children's of Mississippi (Batson Children's Hospital).
