RIDGELAND — A brawl involving two off-duty Jackson Police Officers and a Walmart employee resulted in the arrest of all three at the Walmart here on Saturday.

Both Jordan Jamaal Lewis, 27, and Terrinesheya Natarshaya Dampeer, 24, are employees of JPD, Ridgeland Police Chief Brian Myers said.

Along with Walmart employee Demichael Marice Allen, 27, they have all been arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor, Myers said.

On Saturday, May 24, at 9:30 p.m., Ridgeland PD responded to the Walmart on South Wheatley in reference to a disturbance between two shoppers and an employee of the business, Myers said.

“The disturbance was described by witnesses as a physical fight,” Myers said.

Following the altercation, Walmart management wished to press charges against all individuals involved.

Bond was set at $1,000.00 each, and all parties posted a bond and were released, Myers said.

Myers said the department is not releasing video of this altercation at this time.

Multiple news outlets in Jackson have reported that Lewis and Dampeer are Jackson police officers. It has been reported that the officers have been put on administrative leave while JPD conducts an investigation into the incident.
