The Madison County Republican Women hosted Third District US Congressman Michael Guest on February 21st. Congressman Guest congratulated Madison County for securing the locations for Amazon Web Services (AWS) data centers to be built in the Madison County Mega site and in Ridgeland. He emphasized the economic impact this development will bring to Madison County and the State. Congressman Guest presented an update on Washington DC which included passing the federal budget, the border crisis, and the impeachment of US Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Nicholas Mayorkas.
