Canopy Children's Solutions (Canopy) welcomes Marcus Ginn as its new Donor Relations Manager. In this role, Ginn will work with private foundations, individuals and corporate entities to build meaningful relationships throughout the state by sharing Canopy's mission and values as the voice of Mississippi children and families. He will work collaboratively with Canopy's Director of Development, CEO and leadership teams to ensure donors experience high-quality interactions with the organization that foster long-term engagement.

"One of Canopy's Core Values is Relationships Matter," said Canopy Director of Development Heidi Noel. "Marcus' passion for mental health and his background in relationship building will be critical in helping us broaden our network to reach and serve more children. I'm excited to immerse him in all that Canopy does for children and families statewide, which will be helpful in identifying individuals and organizations that are passionate about the well-being of children and mental health, and finding mutually beneficial ways for us to partner."

Ginn joined the Canopy team following nearly a decade of sales service developing a strong niche for relationship building and brand promotion. In 2014, Ginn began pursuit of his passion to create education, awareness and support for mental health. Since then, he has served on the Board of Directors for the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI) including participation in executive leadership as its current treasurer. Ginn is an alumnus of the University of Mississippi, holding a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management with a minor in Business Administration.

A native of Raymond, Ginn and his wife Katie reside in Madison with their two young daughters. He and his family are active members of Fondren Church and in his spare time, he enjoys playing golf.
