Garbage pickup day moved back

Waste Management customers in Madison County can expect a modified pickup schedule this week as the company will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 1, in observance of the New Year’s Day holiday.

According to a release from Waste Management, Wednesday customers will be collected on Thursday, and Thursday customers will be collected on Friday. Officials say Friday customers will have their trash collected on Saturday.
