Frank Paul Carollo, 96, of Madison, died May 20th, 2022 at home. 

He was born January 20, 1926 in Greenville, Mississippi but grew up in Leland. He attended Mississippi State University for two years before enlisting in the United States Air Force. Frank owned Al's Grocery store in Leland for over 20 years. The family moved to Jackson, Mississippi in 1972 and Frank worked for the State of Mississippi until he retired. Frank married Mina Ray on January 16, 1949 in Leland. They celebrated 70 years together before her death in 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alphonse Paul Carollo and Sarah Serio Carollo and his wife Mina. He is survived by his three children: Eva Anderson (Larry) of Ridgeland, Mina Watkins (Paul) of Germantown, Tennessee and Frances Addy (Terry) of Madison. Frank is also survived by six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law: Annetta Kies of Ridgeland and Faye Brophy of Gulfport. His special caregiver was Ora Adams. Frank was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Madison. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 4th at St. Francis. Visitation is from 10 to 11. There will be a funeral mass at 11.
